All about the Role
Clare Lodge is a secure, welfare only, all-female children's home based in Glinton, Peterborough. The young people at Clare Lodge are given individualised support based on their complex needs.
As part of our team, you will provide and champion activities and Interventions that are personalised across the home. As part of this this you will;
- Support and encourage children to engage in programmes and activities to support them while at Clare Lodge.
- Provide advice and guidance to staff on activities and interventions to ensure there is a coordinated approach.
- Promote and lead trauma informed approaches and practices across the home.

The skills you need:
• Empathy and a passion for helping young people – responding effectively to a range of emotions.
• Ability to build positive relationships.
• Prior knowledge of child protection issues and procedures and an understanding of the
development needs of children and young people are desirable but not essential.
• Good Interpersonal and communication skills, report writing and incident recording skills.
• Willing to work every other weekend and bank holidays.
• The role requires you to be able to take part in physical activities.
• To be over the age of 21 to apply for this role.
