All about the Role
This isn't just a driving job—it's a chance to be the warm welcome at the start of someone's day and the caring hand that helps them home safely. As our Carer/Driver, you'll be a vital part of a service that brings connection, comfort, and community to older people.
From taking the wheel of our adapted minibus to delivering heartfelt care and companionship, your role is full of purpose. You'll turn daily journeys into moments of reassurance and dignity, provide support during group activities that spark joy and memory, and help make the day centre a place that feels like home.
You'll also be the go-to expert on the vehicle—ensuring it runs smoothly, safely and reliably—while guiding staff on how to use its specialist equipment with care and confidence.
Every day is different, but every day is meaningful. Whether it's chatting with someone who needs a listening ear, organising a trip to the park, or making sure the heating's on before clients arrive—you'll be there, bringing calm, kindness and a smile that makes all the difference
