Are you passionate about improving outcomes for families and children?
We are seeking and experienced and visionary Families First Strategic Lead to drive forward an ambitious and innovative programme designed to transform the whole system of help, support and protection to ensure that every family can access the right help and support when they need it.
You will lead and manage a dedicated programme team, ensuring the effective coordination of activities, stakeholder engagement and delivery of measurably impact.
Your leadership will ensure that learning is captured and shared, and that successful approaches are scaled across the system. You'll work closely with colleagues across early help, education, health and statutory services to test new ways of working that make a real difference to families' lives.

These teams are made up of experienced professionals who are passionate about practice improvement and developing services that make a difference to children and families.
All about You
We are looking for someone who is:
- A skilled lead,er, experienced in leading complex programmes in early help, children's services or a related field
- Confident in programme management, including overseeing budgets, coordinating teams, delivering workstreams and evaluating impact.
- Strategic and innovative, with a strong understanding of system change and the ability to inspire and influence others.
- Collaborative, able to work across services and with partners at all levels to co-design and deliver solutions.
- Driven by outcomes, with a passion for improving services and making a tangible difference for families.
- Comfortable working within a governance environment, regularly reporting on progress to senior executives and stakeholders and being subject to scrutiny.
- Appropriate professional project management qualification (such as Prince2, APM or MSP) or equivalent experience.
