All about the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Officer to join our high performing regulatory services team. We are a forward-looking service with arrangements in place to provide services for other councils.  
The excellent and innovative work that we achieve in Peterborough has been recognised with the service being shortlisted and winning several national awards. Our aim is to remain at the forefront of regulatory services delivery, encouraging innovation amongst team members to drive forward and develop the service.  
This post is based in Peterborough, though you will also work closely with colleagues based in Oakham, Rutland. The diverse demographic and geographic nature of the area covered by the service makes it an ideal ground for the professional development of any officer.    

All about You

Ideally, you will have experience in administering a licensing regime, determining licence applications, licensing legislation across multiple disciplines and regulatory compliance. You will carry out interventions, investigate complaints and provide business advice in relation to best practice.   
The service is developing its commercial offering and as such experience with providing training and producing reports and analytical data will be an advantage.
