All about the Role 

We are looking for an Operations Support Assistant to join the internal Council wide team responsible for insourcing services currently operated by Peterborough Limited (under the Aragon brand) into the Council by 1st April 2026. The role will be based in the Environment and Climate Change Team. The post holder will work across different Council services including: Procurement, Finance, HR, Legal and Health and Safety to support these services to complete the work necessary to enable a smooth transition of services back into the Council.

The Council has established a programme team to deliver this work which is broken down into 13 different project areas. Whilst the post holder will sit in the Environment and Climate Change Team they will work proactively across all 13 project areas.
