We are currently recruiting for three Tenancy Sustainment and Floating Support Officers on a fixed term contract until 31st March 2026

 

All about the Role

The purpose of the role is to provide a Tenancy Sustainment and Housing Related Support Service, to individuals and families living within Peterborough's directly managed temporary accommodation 
both in a hostel or self-contained accommodation.


Undertake initial assessments and work with customers to agree support goals and provide support and guidance to work towards achieving those goals

To provide support including making onward referrals and signposting to other services for those who are in temporary accommodation around multiple issues including but not limited to:
• Mental Health
• Physical health and wellbeing
• Substance and alcohol misuse
• Debt and welfare benefits
• Domestic Abuse
• Employability
• Budgeting skills and tenancy readiness skills
• Refugees who have recently left Home Office accommodation

The successful candidates will need to have experience of working with vulnerable people and be confident in communicating with clients and partners in all circumstances. 

You will have strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and also within a team
