About our Team

The Procurement Team supports the City Council to achieve best value for money for the services, works or goods that it purchases. We are a strong, inclusive and friendly team with a supportive culture and we value the opportunities to look at things differently and support innovation within the City Council.

We work directly with internal stakeholders and external providers to manage activities that facilitate value for money and provide ongoing client support to deliver continuous cost savings, performance and process improvements for the Council.  We deliver a wide range of procurements both strategic and tactical in nature across the Council to provide end-to-end procurement support. This means that we provide support from the moment that we are instructed right through the procurement process to contract management.
