All about the Role 

Peterborough City Council's Reablement Team are looking for an individual to join our new 1 year Learning Disability Project. The aim of this is to maximise individual's wellbing and independent living skills.  As a care support worker in this project you will work closely with people to support them through their reablement time and work with colleagues to support individuals to achieve their goals.  This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new team, making a difference to people with a learning disability and those living with a neurodivergence.

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a problem solving and positive attitude alongside knowledge and/or experience of the needs of vulnerable adults living with a learning disability or neurodivergence. Working knowledge and experience of the Care Act & Eligibility Criteria and Mental Capacity Act.
