All about the Role 

We are seeking a Tracking Officer to support the Children Missing Education processes within the team.

The post is 37 hours per week with part-flexible working between the office and remotely.

What will you be doing?

The is a front line, fast paced role which involves switching between a variety of tasks throughout the day and there is frequent multi-tasking. 

You will be comfortable working in a busy working environment, able to demonstrate great attention to detail in maintaining records and working to short deadlines.

Knowledge of safeguarding in education and children missing education is essential as well as having experience in liaising with families, schools and other agencies.

Working within an education background is advantageous, although not essential.

Significant experience in using various IT packages is essential.

About you

The right candidate will have knowledge of safeguarding in education and children missing education, which is essential for this role. As well as having experience in liaising with families, schools and other agencies.

Time management and prioritising deadlines are essential, along with excellent written and oral communication skills.

The ability to work independently and using your own initiative will be required.

You will have experience of and be confident in professionally challenging families, other agencies and professionals.

You will have organisation and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to making a positive difference to the lives of our service users.
