All about the Role
Digital & Customer Access are looking to hire an Cybersecurity Apprentice to participate in delivering next generation security technologies for improving its security posture and reducing the threat landscape. You will be involved in managing, supporting security infrastructure.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team where you'll gain practical, hands-on experience while working towards a recognised qualification.
You'll support the day-to-day running of our IT services, learning from experienced professionals and developing key technical skills across a range of technologies.
This apprenticeship offers a strong foundation in ICT, with the opportunity to build valuable skills and potentially progress into a permanent or more advanced technical role.
To assist the Technical Services and Security manager to maintain the Cyber health of Peterborough City Council and their partners. This is a Level 4 apprenticeship lasting for 24 months.

All about You
We're looking for someone with a positive attitude and passion for ICT, who is keen to learn and develop their technical skills in a professional environment.
You'll ideally have:
- GCSEs and either a Level 3 BTEC Diploma or A levels
- A basic understanding of Microsoft Office products
- An interest in IT support, networking, security or cloud technologies
