All about the Role
We have a great opportunity based at City College Peterborough to become a key member of our ESOL department. As an experienced ESOL tutor, you will be required to plan and deliver ESOL courses across a range of levels in an inspiring manner; you will support your learners to achieve their full potential and create a positive and engaging learning environment. The job role will include contributing to the continued development of the department, providing tutorial support for learners, and carrying out the associated administrative tasks connected with the position. The successful candidate will need to have experience in delivering ESOL to adult learners. A CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL qualification is essential to carry out this role. The successful candidate will be required to: • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in ESOL • Establish effective working relationships with people at all levels • Monitor, support and record learner progress • Provide innovative and stimulating training • Work as part of a team to achieve timely results NB. All positions are working with learners aged 19+
