All about the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant role on a permanent basis at Peterborough City Council. The role is part time working 22.20 hours a week to provide support to the Service Director for Education within the Childrens & Young People directorate. However, please note that this is a generic role, and you may be required to provide support to other Service Directors across the EA Hub. This flexibility is an important aspect of the position, ensuring comprehensive coverage and continuity of service during periods of leave, increased workload, or other business needs. Your ability to adapt and work effectively with a range of senior leaders will be a valuable contribution to the wider team.
Hours will be spread across three days - Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Our team works in the office on Wednesday and remotely the other 2 days.

All about You
You will need to have full executive and personal assistance skills and experience working at director level to include; complex diary management, minute taking, preparing reports and information for your director, working knowledge of the standard Microsoft suite. You should be self-motivated, flexible and have excellent organisational skills alongside the ability to manage your own workload, priorities and forward plan. The role will also require you to provide high quality cover support to the other Executive Assistants and Senior Executive Assistants in the EA Hub during times of absence.
