All about our Team
The Families First Programme Team is part of Peterborough City Council's Children's Services and leads on the delivery of the national Families First Partnership Programme locally. The team works collaboratively with services and partners across the city to strengthen early help, safeguarding, and family support arrangements.
Led by the Strategic Lead for Families First, the team includes a Programme Support Officer and two Partnership Secondments, working closely with the Service Director for Practice, Head of Service for Inspection, Improvement and Innovation, and our Corporate Delivery Unit. Together, the team drives programme planning, coordination, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement activity across the partnership.

You will be an organised, motivated, and detail-focused professional with experience supporting programmes or projects in a complex environment. Skilled in managing information, producing clear reports, and coordinating multiple workstreams, you take pride in accuracy and follow-through.
You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work confidently with senior officers, partners, and external stakeholders. Competent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft 365 applications, are essential, as is the ability to analyse and present information clearly.
