All about the team

The fostering service is a friendly and supportive team.
We are fully committed to making sure that our children in care, live in foster homes where they are nurtured and receive warm therapeutic care which will support them to reach their full potential.
We are so fortunate to have the backing and support from the whole council, all our leaders and committed foster carer community recognise the absolute importance of all collaborating and working together to achieve our goals.

This role will require someone with strong people skills, someone who can get on with all ages, who can problem solve, keep a calm head in ever changing and sometimes emotionally charged situations, offer support and guidance and who can work independently and also loves being part of a team.
You will also need to be able to keep accurate records and data which you'll present in reports and verbally, so an ability to write well and feel comfortable presenting to groups of people, is important.
