All about the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Development Management Officer within the Council's Planning Service.
The role involves dealing with a varied and interesting caseload of major/strategic projects such as city centre regeneration sites and sustainable urban extensions to the city. It also involves line management of a small team of planners, leading major project teams, presenting to Committee, representing the Council at appeals and participating in the Council's Design Review Panel.

Are you
- a qualified planning officer with an RTPI accredited planning degree and a number of years experience in development management?
- an excellent communicator, willing to develop and grow professionally, and to support the growth of the wider team?
- enthusiastic, dynamic and proactive?

- a keen interest in place shaping?
- a willingness to drive performance and improve the quality of design?
