All about the Role 

This role is to provide effective operational management, coordination and supervision of the Adult Social Care Operational Support TeamInterns, Work Placements, T-level Course Placements and Apprentices, and accompanying resources including digital resources. You will lead by example in delivering high quality and high performing service provision and resource management, ensuring that all relevant service standards and regulations are met. 


All about our Team

You will be working in the Service Improvement and Development Team of the Adult Services and Communities Directorate within the council, a small but busy department, and will oversee the business resource provision across the Adults Team.

You will be an experienced team manager, with a positive, competent and approachable management and leadership style, enabling you to build and sustain a productive and cohesive team, while identifying and delivering service efficiencies and improvements.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain effective working relationships with the team, customers and key stakeholders.

A high standard of literacy, numeracy and accuracy is required alongside a thorough knowledge and understanding of general office procedures, systems and practices, including case management system processes. 

Knowledge of a relevant ASC system and the Mosaic Adult Social Care Case Management System would be an advantage.
