All about the Role
As our new Statutory Administration Assistant here at Peterborough City Council you will provide administrative support to ensure statutory processes are managed efficiently and within legal timescales.
You main duties will include maintaining accurate records, coordinating assessments and reviews, preparing correspondence and documentation, monitoring deadlines, and acting as a key point of contact for families, schools, and professionals.

The Statutory SEND Team is dedicated to ensuring that children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) receive the support they need to achieve their best outcomes. We work collaboratively with families, educational settings, health professionals and other partners to coordinate the Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessment process and maintain high-quality Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

All about You
- Highly organised and customer-focused, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise workloads while meeting tight deadlines and statutory timescales.
- Effective team player with a proactive and flexible approach, able to use initiative, work independently or collaboratively, and perform well in a pressured environment.
- ICT proficient, with experience maintaining accurate electronic records, inputting data correctly, and ensuring information is kept up to date.
