All about the Role
The Senior Executive Assistant plays a pivotal role in providing high-level, comprehensive support to Executive Directors and senior leaders at Peterborough City Council.

You will be confident in taking direction, proactive in your approach, and comfortable engaging directly with Directors and senior stakeholders. A key part of the role is acting as a central link between Executive Directors and teams across the organisation, as well as external partners.
You will be expected to navigate complex and often ambiguous situations, using your initiative to investigate issues, identify solutions, and present clear recommendations and findings to Executive Directors.

Additionally, you will have responsibility for line managing Executive Assistants, ensuring a high standard of service delivery and continuous improvement.
Interviews will be held on Wednesday 17th June at Sand Martin House.
All about You
You are a highly organised and proactive professional with extensive experience supporting senior leaders in a fast-paced environment. You thrive on managing competing priorities and are confident working independently, using your initiative to anticipate needs and resolve issues before they escalate.
