Senior Information Analyst - Housing Transformation
Fixed Term Until December 2026
Peterborough is a wonderful place to live and work. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Senior Information Analyst – Housing Transformation to join our Public Health team within the Performance and Intelligence Service on a fixed-term basis until the end of December 2026. This role is critical in enabling the provision of 'real-time' data and insights via PowerBI data dashboards to support operational and strategic decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for data held in case management systems into the data platform.
- Develop, maintain, and improve PowerBI dashboards to visualise data and present insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with teams across Services to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all data sources and reports.
- Perform data analysis and generate reports to support decision-making processes related to housing data.

This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical and technical skills who wants to develop a career in the public sector. We are looking for a new colleague who:
- Has existing data and analytics skills – PowerBI and SQL are essential.
- Has knowledge and understanding of information systems and databases, including extraction of data and information.
- Is talented in working with data and presenting it to different audiences.
- Is quick to learn new skills and understand the context of our work.
- Can work both from home and in the office as required.
You do not need to have prior experience in Public Health or Housing, but a keen interest and willingness to learn are essential.
