All about the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Assistant Admissions Officer.

Working in the School Admissions team, your main duties will be dealing with the processing of school applications, telephone calls and email enquiries.

This is an exciting role and the successful applicant will need to be flexible, approachable and able to adapt to ever changing demands in a fast-paced environment.

Ideally, the right candidate will be educated to GCSE standard, or equivalent, and should have an understanding of Local Authority working, Admissions policies and procedures although this is not essential.

You will be highly organised and efficient with the ability to produce work of a high standard within set timescales, meeting statutory deadlines, which is non-negotiable in this environment.

As well as having good working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft packages, the role requires data inputting on the Synergy Access database for which you will receive training.  Candidates will require excellent IT skills, with accuracy and attention to detail, which is paramount.

This is a home working/office-based post at Sand Martin House where you will be the first point of contact for all enquiries into the team, therefore, having excellent communication and telephony skills combined with a sensitive approach are essential.

For an informal discussion contact Nicola Griggs - 07551047039 or Sarah Lidgett - 07436 603731.
