All about the Role

To develop ties across community organisations, faith groups and community hubs. To develop strong links with communities across the city, ensuring that public services and residents are able to  effectively collaborate and work together to achieve shared aims and outcomes.  Building strong ties across all communities to increase trust and confidence, capture the community voice, improve cohesion and help new arrivals integrate.

 


All about our Team

You will be one of 3 community connectors, reporting into a team leader and led by the Head of Cohesion and Integration. The team are  part of the Housing and Communities directorate.

 


All about You

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and proven track record in working across communities and faith organisations. Communication skills are vital, requiring face to face engagement with community groups. Working hours must be flexible, and Mon - Fri in the main but with the occasional need for evening and weekend working.
