All about the Role
Your role will be to support adults with learning disabilities to develop new skills, including woodwork and gardening, while helping them achieve their individual goals in a positive and social environment. You will play a key part in building their confidence and promoting independence.
You will assist in planning and delivering a range of activities both within our hub and out in the community, including:
- Sessions at the allotment
- Collecting pallets and delivering kindling
- Supporting woodwork and craft activities
- Providing personal care
- Communicating with families and other professionals involved in individuals' care
- Using IT systems to update records and complete training

The Industrial hub currently has a staff team of 6 and 28 supported people. We are an active, enthusiastic team who like to motivate the people we support.

Can you work well in a team and use your own initiative?
Have you held a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 2 years? Driving will be involved using the hubs vehicles.
