City College Peterborough is seeking a motivated, compassionate and learner-focused Teaching & Service Assistant to join our Study Skills programme, supporting learners aged 16–24, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
About the Role
In this varied and fulfilling role, you will:
- Support learners on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Help learners overcome barriers to learning and achieve their goals
- Assist Tutors in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Develop and adapt learning resources to meet individual needs
- Maintain accurate learner records using ProMonitor
- Provide personal care where required, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
You will work closely with a supportive team of Tutors, playing a key role in helping learners build confidence, independence, and readiness for their next steps.
