City College Peterborough is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Indian Cookery Tutor to join our dynamic Leisure Department. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to inspire adult learners aged 19+ and to share your passion and expertise in the creative field of Indian Cookery

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design high‑quality, comprehensive course materials for Indian cookery classes.
- Stay informed about emerging culinary trends and integrate relevant industry best practices into the curriculum.
- Lead hands‑on cooking sessions, offering clear, step‑by‑step instruction on Indian cooking techniques, recipes, and cultural traditions.
- Demonstrate expertise across a variety of Indian cuisines, including regional specialties, traditional spice usage, and diverse cooking methods.
- Provide constructive, personalised feedback to students to support skill development and culinary confidence.
- Maintain cooking facilities and equipment, ensuring they remain clean, safe, and in optimal working condition.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate the procurement of ingredients, tools, and other essential resources.

We are seeking a highly skilled Indian Cookery Tutor with comprehensive knowledge of the all aspects of Indian Cookery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently engage, motivate and guide adult learners from diverse backgrounds.
- The ability to assess learner progress effectively and provide constructive, developmental feedback.
- Experience in designing innovative, inspiring and well‑structured lesson plans that address individual learner needs.
- A collaborative and dedicated approach, contributing positively to the success of the Adult Skills Department.
- A strong commitment to maintaining the high‑quality learning experience offered at City College Peterborough.
