All about the Role 

We are looking for an organised, proactive and confident MARAC Coordinator to join our Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Partnership Team.

This is a key role supporting the Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) process, helping agencies work together to improve the safety of people experiencing domestic abuse and those at highest risk.

You will coordinate weekly MARAC meetings, work with partner organisations across Peterborough, ensure information is shared securely and accurately, prepare meeting documentation and minutes, and support agencies to understand and engage with the MARAC process. You will also provide administrative support to the Independent Domestic Violence Adviser (IDVA) Service and wider Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Partnership Team.

No two days are the same. One day you may be coordinating case information from multiple agencies, and the next you could be producing performance reports, arranging training, supporting partnership meetings or helping develop new ways of working.

This role offers an opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of people affected by domestic abuse by ensuring that agencies work together effectively to improve safety and reduce risk.

Provisional interview date will be on 26th October 2026 at Sand Martin House, Peterborough.

The post will start on 1st March 2027.

All about our Team

The Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Partnership Team is a small, supportive and committed team working to improve outcomes for people affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence across Peterborough.

We work in a hybrid way, combining home working with time spent working across Peterborough and with partner agencies. While there will be times when you are working independently and managing your own workload, you will always be part of a friendly team that supports one another and shares a common goal.

Partnership working is at the heart of what we do. We work closely with colleagues from statutory, voluntary and community organisations to coordinate services, share information appropriately and improve responses for victims and survivors.

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, professional and able to work confidently with sensitive information. You will have:

• Strong administrative and organisational experience.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with a wide range of people.
• Experience working with multiple agencies, partners or stakeholders.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and IT systems.
• The ability to produce accurate records and meeting minutes.
• The ability to manage deadlines, prioritise workloads and work on your own initiative.
• A professional, approachable and adaptable style.

It would be great if you also have:

• Knowledge of domestic abuse, sexual violence, risk assessment or safeguarding.
• Experience of partnership or local authority working.
• Experience coordinating meetings, projects or events.
• An understanding of relevant legislation such as the Domestic Abuse Act 2021.
