All about the Role 

Operations Support Assistant (Part-Time)
Grade 5
20 hours per week (ideally 4 days x 5 hours, although working arrangements can be discussed with the successful candidate)

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Operations Support Assistant to join our team and provide essential business support across a busy service area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking pride in delivering high-quality support to colleagues and customers.

The successful candidate will help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the service by:

  • Providing administrative and business support across Regulatory Services.
  • Maintaining accurate records, databases and filing systems.
  • Preparing standard correspondence, reports and documentation.
  • Responding to customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Supporting meetings, diary management and general office organisation.
  • Assisting with data reporting and performance information.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an efficient and customer-focused service.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working in an administrative or office environment.
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Can prioritise their workload and work independently.
  • Is confident using Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrates a positive, flexible and customer-focused approach.

Working Pattern: 20 hours per week. We would ideally like the hours worked across four days (5 hours per day), however alternative arrangements will be considered with the successful candidate.
