This role is contracted for 30 hours per week,. The salary provided is for the full time equivalent.

All about the Role 

Service Assistant needed at The Kingfisher Centre, supporting adults with complex learning disabilities.  Do you love helping others and being out and about?

We are looking fora caring, enthusiastic, and reliable person to join our team.

You will be supporting amazing adults with learning disabilities to live their best lives, whether its a trip to the park, going bowling or just a chilled coffee afternoon.

All of our supported people need support with every aspect of daily life, this may be with eating and drinking, personal care or moving and handling.

Some of our individuals may need support to manage their behaviours  for which special training will be given .

The Kingfisher Centre is part of day opportunities, we are based in Bretton.

We support individuals during the day to take part in activities.  Every session is designed to promote independence, wellbeing, confidence, and joy, while creating meaningful experiences and memories.

We are a lively, friendly service where everyone has their own worker to help them achieve the most of their abilities.

You will need a kind and patient nature, a good sense of humour, be positive ,upbeat and encouraging.

A willingness to get involved and work together as a team to make someone's day brighter.
